This project is my current main focus and is still in the works. I will update it, as the project grows.
Topic: This project is part of my study at HAW Ansbach. It is the first larger scale project, before starting my bachelor’s thesis. It was at first supposed to be a continuation of my Conceptdrawing project: Bloodline. It has however evolved from a story driven souls-like to a short mini horror experience.

I made all 3D assets myself, they consist of a set of modular pieces to build a medieval town, as well as level specific decor objects.

I used CC licensed textures, which I downscaled and adjusted to my preferences, using Photoshop. For simple tilable textures I use a custom Tile shader in Unity. Decor Objects of the same category share combined textures baked from blender.
I mostly used my Assets to build Level Greyboxes in Unity to get a better feel for how the game will look. Afterwards I gradually switched out placeholders with assets and added clutter to make the world more interesting.
