This is a small collection of some Uni Projects I made over the course of my study.
The 3D Surfaces Module is about 3D game asset creation. It teaches the workflow from a blockout mesh, to a high poly mesh with sculpted details, which in turn will be used to bake a Normal Map on a low poly mesh for use in Unreal Engine. Texture painting was done in Adobe Substance painter.
Product Visualization was an optional Module which focused on offline rendering for advertisements or showcases. This project was made using Cinema 4D and Redshift Render Pipeline. A subpart of the module focused on creating controls for the animation using XPresso. The 3D modell of the goggles was not made by me, though I made some improvements.
The Virtual Characters Module focused on modelling 3D characters for use in animatons, as well as character animation itself, using poses. This project was also made with Cinema 4D.
Sounddesign focused, obviously, on sounddesign for motion pictures. For this project we were offered a small collection of videos by other students. Our task was to create audio for those using, among other things, self recorded audio tracks. This was a group project together with @Raventryn, made in Adobe Audition.
Compositing was an advanced 3D Module, focused on blending CGI with Film. It covered topics like Global Illumination, Multi-Pass Rendering and Motion Tracking
Design Theory focused on many theoretical and behind the scenes aspects of Graphic Design, the project was to create a Logo and variations for a fictional brand.
